This workshop will introduce attendees to the requirements for delivering successful PPPs. It will do so from a holistic perspective because PPP is not simply about delivering an infrastructure project.
Attendees will explore the requirements for successful PPPs including the critical elements of the PPP Framework and the main proceedings from the identification of a promising PPP to the effective implementation of a successful PPP arrangement.
Attendees will also learn suitable legislation is in place, that there is sufficient access to capital, that investors are willing and able to invest, that government is able to prepare, tender and monitor projects.
This training uses state of the art research, relevant case reviews and class interactions to acquire a thorough understanding of the principles of PPP and the requirements for success.

Course Trainer is a recognised leading PPP expert with more than 20 years of working experience covering primarily infrastructure finance and PPP’s. He has been the founder and director of the PPP Task Force within the Dutch Ministry of Transport and acted for 9 years as Director PPP & Financial Advisory Services at the renowned Dutch consulting firm ECORYS. Before ECORYS, Marcel has worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Ministry of Transport in the Netherlands and Arthur Andersen.
Course Trainer has also designed and delivered numerous PPP workshops in some 20 countries throughout the world including Albania, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Ghana, Hungary, India, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Lesotho, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Romania, Turkey and Yemen.
