Special Events Security Management

Regardless of the country, special events; big or small are cornerstones for creating positive lasting memories. But what happens when special events aren’t prepared for, or we fail to identify the safety and security issues associated with such events? These memories can quickly become nightmares that end in tragedy and unfortunately over the years we have seen multiple deaths and injuries over a wide spectrum of countries and at a variety of special events.

When the issues that surround these mass gatherings go unaddressed it places a strain on public safety departments and their ability to handle everyday response functions, significantly reducing their effectiveness, ultimately compromising public safety.

This course is designed to give event planners, public safety, and security professionals an understanding of the planning and preparation requirements for special events of all sizes and provide them with the information and tools necessary to help prevent and mitigate safety and security issues that can lead to tragedy at special events.
